2011: Very young and hot. Cedar earth and red fruit with a long gripy finish. Needs a few years.

Was not a fan. I have had many Cote du Rhône with many better attributes with less the price. Others thought better of it , too much mineral taste.. drank in December 2018

20 bucks at Trader Joe’s. Can’t go wrong with that. Would get this again. Decant it when you open it

Beautiful hues of brick red and moderate acidity. With dark fruit and earthy notes, it drinks well but needs time to breath. It's one of the most pretentious sounding varietals but it is had for only $20 and goes down easy.

Jammy fruits: strawberry and blackberry. Some baking spices and black pepper, a touch of cedar on the finish. Hot, not balanced. Very tight, toss it in a blender.
