Big Beefy, literally, nose, lots of liquorice, tar, roses, camphor.
Palate is wonderfully dirty upon entry, great mix of soil, acids, blue flowers,
gentle tannins, leather, mushroom, meat.
Great qpr. May have been just as good upon opening, if beastier, decanted 2 hrs.

Ready to drink (ie not one to age for two decades) this has beautiful notes of licorice, rose, sweet red fruit and tar with firm but silky tannins
