Certainly one of the most exotic wines I've had in a while. Loaded with spices, along with a forest of herbs, the most prominent being sage and bay leaf. A tropical version of cherry adds another layer of both intrigue and enjoyment. My first La Spinetta, and I'm already a fan.

It's amazing how wine can transport you to another time and place. The smell of candied black currants in this wine instantly brought me back to Christmas morning and those little french candies in the round tins we used to get. Dried flowers and black tea to go along with it. Love this wine!
