Complex on the nose. Dried fruit, spices, wet autumn leaves. Tasted exactly like dried apricots. Best on first day.

Bought 6 of these fellas. Lots of bottle variation. Some were a bit hot and a little to tannic others were more mellow and great. Still a decent bottle to drink now
