A mature Rioja that fooled me, I could not guess this one right when tasted blind, except the age which was evident given the color. Lovely nose, full of animality, barnyard, smoked barrel, cooked cherries, leather, soil, mushroom and coffee, medium smooth body, round and elegant, a bit too mature for my taste, but lovely and balanced. A long fine finish. I know others will dig this one, I love my wine a bit more kicking ;-) my score 88, drink up

Soft & supple fully mature. Sharing this birth year selection with my daughter. Tonight we celebrate the life of her grandfather Papa Skura. Dinner, great wine, followed by a live stage musical show. Many of the things Bill enjoyed all in one nite. This is a great wine to celebrate the life of a good man.
