Oct 21st, 20152011 subtle, orange zest or maybe pith perfume, coriander seed, sumac. Opening w air, lots of middle Eastern mojo, touch of lamb jus? Still, drunk way too young, worked hard for those flavours! Pomegranate acidity and cherries; Super subtle w a great future. Need another bottle to cellar.

May 22nd, 2022For what I understand may have been a challenging vintage here’s a BEAUTIFUL 2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru from the Côte de Nuits, Burgundy. 🇫🇷 🇫🇷
👁 The color is ruby with garnet influences.
👃 On the nose, this wine has vibrant black cherry, strawberry, cranberry, and violet primary notes, but also has layers of baking spice, cedar, and vanilla secondary notes, and leather, cured meat, wet mossy earth, and mushroom tertiary notes. This wine is in a developing stage.
👄 The palate follows suit striking a balance between acidity, fruitiness, oak notes, and earthiness. The finish lingers.
This wine is complex, revealing new dimensions as it breathes. ✨✨✨
