Clos des 60 Ouvrées Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir

2012.

Tasted with Clos de la Bousse. Shared the same burnt rubber reduction. Seated corn cake, green pepper, balsamic & fig tart. In the mouth Tart cherry, crushed seed tannin, light roast coffee and a touch of sweatiness (Brett).

A little oaky, but distinctly volnay and powerfully. In a nice place. I love Volnay.

2012. The nose is all oak. But the palate is very pretty and supple quiet red fruit with a hint of tannin for structure. I like this wine.

Tight still.
