Slightly cloudy, moderately extracted red. Red fruit notes in nose. Cherry-berry flavor with length, veg, tobacco flavors initially, tart, moderate to heavy amounts of fine-grain tannin astringency in finish. Slightly hot, bitter aftertaste. Decant, have patience. Cherry and raspberry flavors with length develop, tannins soften, acids mellow; plum aftertaste. This one is a pleasure after being open 24 hours, if you like good tasting uncomplicated fruit.
