Estate Series Colchagua Valley Carmenére

Ripe and fruit forward on the nose and palate with black cherries and a bit of baking spice in fine grained tannins. I got a little green bell pepper at class but not tonight, but it paired awesome with skirt steak and pepper fajitas.

Ripe black fruits, herbs, and subtle oak aromas. Rich, tart black fruits, subtle oak notes, soft tannins.

Light but very bright. Not complex but pretty impressive for the price.

Sharp nose of barnyard funk. Sweetness and green bell pepper on the palate, but seems not a well-balanced wine.

Not a fan of dark red dry wines. I will say that I originally tried drinking it cold but it was definitely much better at room temperature.

Give it time

Slight dry with a slight dark berries with oak

Hints of fruit, slight heat on the aftertaste. Interesting pairing w chocolate...brings out the raspberry.

Very smooth

A good easy drinker - looking for a carmenere since we have had some blends we enjoyed - this was not tannic, light fruits, both enjoyed
