Black raspberries, blueberry, white pepper, mushrooms, old books, violets, rocks. Rounded acidity/minimal tannin presence, silk-juicy texture, soft medium bodied, earthy slightly smoky finish. Mineral driven, aromatic, easy drinking while maintaining its earthiness throughout.

Very funky and interesting Wine. Natural fermented means there is some great sour notes and very mild carbonation. Some cured meat/gamey notes from the Gamay in the blend.

2011. Reductive as it gets at first. Great acidity, high toned cranberry- like fruit. Cool bottle of wine.
