32 and perfect. Cork was perfect. The color was velvet crimson with slight bricking at the edges. Rustic, tobacco, cocoa, and a thin line of dark fruit. Decanted and sipped slowly over several hours. In our cellar for over 20 years.

This feels big and international for Rioja. Purple plums, black cherries, a hint of plum/apricot kernel and some sweet cocoa. None of the transparency of the more traditional producers like LdH or La Rioja Alta. Dense, tannins a bit chalky. Time won’t hurt.

Exceptional, fantasticly made, powerful, elegant, fresh, sure to age gracefully. The oak is perfectly integrated, with firm tannin and a tightly wound structure framing the long, youthful and powerful multi-dimensional finish. 20-25,000 bottles in production.

Very expressive nose displaying complex aromas of walnut, vanilla, cedar, sweet ripe plums, dark cherries and hints of liquorice.
It is dry and intense in the palate, with a tasty concentration and fine-grained firm tannic structure. The alcohol is well-integrated and balanced by a medium+ lively acidity. It is full-bodied and ends with a persistent and pleasant aftertaste.
It is an outstanding example of non-traditional but not too modern Rioja either. Very balanced and with elegant and well-integrated oak notes.

In the nose very similar to a Rhone blend white. Paler than i remember medium- nose. Pronounced acidity med body. Apricots, peaches and lees sensation on finish.
