La Nina Gamay

100% Gamay
Deep violet-purple in colour
Rich, ripe and vibrant purple and black fruit on the nose along with black pepper, black olive, tar, liquorice and to a lesser extent a dried flower, pot-pouri character. Took on more of a cherry bakewell, almond note on day 2. Although this is 6 years old it still smells very compact with an excellent core of dark fruits.
In the mouth this has rich and quite unctuous blackberry, black cherry and kirsch like fruit which seems to be drying out a touch, tannins are plush but present and there is a grippy purple fruit finish. One of the better gamay wines I've tried and be very interesting to re visit in a few years time to see where this goes as there's really not a great deal of acidity.

100% gamay, biodynamic. Light and fruity in Beaujolais Style. a rather long aging gives it a beautiful structure, which would tend towards a Cabernet-Franc de Loire. A fresh, original, modern and accessible wine.

100% Gamay. 100% Natural and Byodinamic, again a wine both modern and ancestral that contrasts with habits. without added suffering. this wine gives to taste the fruits and the terroirs without artifice. Fruity to perfection; fresh, gullying, it's a gourmet treat, for lovers of easy drinking wines. Beautiful dress.

2015

Good. Not great but good. Robust, a bit barny, but interesting.

Decent. 2009. Nice and mature cherry bomb.

2010. Mur epice cote aunis. Tres gouleyant et gin.

First bottle popped from the Garagiste mystery box. Tasted last night, recorked and put it straight into a stew today.
