@Michael Elmore absolutely nailed the notes on this. Just go read his. A super interesting wine, I’m probably not buying it again at $40 but I have huge love and respect for these awesome Vermont cuvees.

Vermont 🤯🤯

Fun, but schizophrenic. Starts with raisinated port-like/amarone-esque consentration that moves into screaming high acid, low alcohol electrical surge of a natural loire/beaujolais. Love La Garagista, but hard to wrap my brain around this #802love

You guys! CA, WA, NY, and OR don't have a monopole on sun and soil. Approachable, fruity, scrumptious. 2013 vintage. Vermont doing things well in the bottle. Aesthetically too, I think.

Successful pairing with relatively spicy chili.

Wolves of Chateauguay. Howling (opened) since December 15.

All over in the best way possible. Black olive, salty. Fruit of plum and dark cherry. Flits between lightness and concentrated, dense. Rose on the nose.

A smooth dancers. Salty black olive nose.
Thick, dark fruit jam. Super complex, ping pong wine of excitement and joy. Touch of acidity to round things out.

Incredible and unique wine. Raisins, mollases, port ... bright acidity and a clean tart finish.

V2017. Ruby color. Smells of blackcurrant, cranberries, and raisins. Also black pepper and leather. Medium body, with medium/high acidity upfront, and a smooth finish. Look forward to drinking again.
