La Clarine Farm
Sierra Foothills Syrah Mourvedre Blend Rosé

2014. Solid release from them. I did prefer the 13... Though I love how all of these wines are so completely different year to year.

Jun 23rd, 2015The '13 is aging well - long lees contact makes for fruit bowl aromatics and balanced/delish rhubarb pie flavors with wee bit o funk. Drink cool, not cold.

What an incredible rosé. Off the charts aromatics for the style, citrus blossom with a minute undertone of game. Delicious stuff.

What an awesome rose. Probably unlike anything I've ever tasted, la clarine or not, yet it has that same unmistakably la clarine profile. the wine changes every second: carrots, pink lemonade, cantaloupe, fresh peaches, and white cherries come to mind. I can't wait to buy more.
