Always a big fan of this. Aromatics are so distinct.

Blood orange and plums. Very lively acidity. Keeps you wanting the next sip!

A little lighter body than I remember from past vintages, but still the bright tea flavor

Clarine's wines are always confusing, immediately back away from this funky urinal cakey nose then ask for the rest of the bottle fifteen minutes later. I like it, it's weird, blinded thinking it was pineau d'aunis, it's light bodied, a bit smokey, plenty of lavender

Mouvèdre. Tough to ripen. Tough to make into a single varietal wine that won't confuse most casual wine drinkers. Here in America, It's the domain of wine nerds.

This effort is no exception. Very light pale purple in the glass. Dried blue flowers and blueberry on the nose. On the palate an odd mix of dry brambly earth and powdery bubble gum from a baseball card pack. Did surprisingly well with the rib roast. Super interesting, but be sure you have the crowd.
