Acid, cut flower stems, and rosemary on the nose. Scallion and lemon peel, with slightest touch of burnt sugar, on the palate. A clutch pairing for herring or fatty mackerel (as it is paired often at Lilia), but it's priced a little optimistically at $35-ish. It makes the by-the-glass price elsewhere paradoxically attractive, since it really flourishes when paired with foods that I don't often cook at home.

Aroma similar to aged Riesling and Pinot Gris. Mineral, petrol, honey and candied ginger. On the palette it reminds each of Aligoté, mineral with lots of melons and lemon cream. Finish is clean and bright with lots of acidity.

Can't ask for more explosive citrus and mineral aromas and flavors. Mouth watering flavors combined with almost non-existent alcohol makes this a dangerous wine that one can drink and drink and drink.
