What makes this Rioja interesting is the oak. 50/50 American and French. Definitely leans more towards the French and its coupled with bramble, dark scorched fruit and medium intensity. Very interesting execution.

Shows great fruit, full yet softer tannin and medium acid. Barrel indicates French treatment but rumor tells American in there...which eludes me. Fantastic effort from a good vintage.
