Nose filled with the cobwebs of a root cellar. Deep and full of earth.
Brett hits first, a natural Brett, not one that has been added. Slight hints of that bit of rubber and band aid, circa 1984, dark raspberry, licorice, horehound, framboise liquor, blackberry seeds. A delightful organic wine, with a Grenache dominant Syrah blend.
Global warming sucks, yet we are truly lucky as wine drinkers to have such excellent fruit (vintages) in our lifetimes.
