Figured it was time to try some of these to see how they are progressing. The acid is really upfront and will probably preserve the fruit underneath for another decade at least. Very dark fruit, lots of spice and just a touch of green. This will only improve and it will be really interesting to see how these develop into secondary flavors but I get the feeling that's going to be a slow go.

Rating slightly lower than I did a year and a half ago. Maybe it’s me or maybe it’s falling off a bit. Actually getting juicier with time. This one tastes like a younger version of the Sonoma Coast.

Drinking pretty well. Impressive, considering the poor vintage.

This is pretty amazing how big this wine is for being sub 13% alcohol. Bing cherry, strawberry, cola. Beautiful integration with the Sonoma terroir. Very enjoyable wine now. I think this will improve over the next five years.

Well balanced layers of flavor. Low alcohol lets the fruit take the stage.

2010. Spicy & deep. Focused & balanced. Shows serious structure. Will be a great wine for a long time.
