Dry finish

Big but an easy drinker. Lots of licorice and sweet cherries. Tastes slightly hotter than the 2009. Super dry finish.

Made by winemaker of the decade. Soft. Wonderful nose. Oaky smell. Silky finish with a beautiful oak/red fruit taste

Dry and brooding. Licorice, mint, a bit of vanilla oak in the finish.

Beautiful ruby in color with a light ruby rim.

Fruity nose of blueberries, sour cherries, vanilla, cedar, dirt, bell pepper, forest floor, green herbs, black pepper and smoke.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Tart on the palate with strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, bell pepper, smoke, earth, spices, vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with angular tannins, tart cranberries and bitter green lettuce.

This 4 year old is still young and unbalanced. Complex and interesting with a nice mouthfeel. Not very enjoyable by itself and better with food like fatty cheeses.
An hour in a decanter didn't help at all, if anything, it became more acidic. A few years in the bottle should do the trick.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

Zin based, great aroma of cherry and oak. Medium Bodied, good as a cocktail wine

Blackberry, cassis, black cherry, oak and hints of eucalyptus & baking spice. Good structure and quite tannic.
