Estate Grown Rosé Blend
I think I’m more surprised I didn’t give this a 9.4 as opposed to me giving this a 9.3! Absolutely shocked at this. This is one of the best rosés I’ve had to date. Not just “best I’ve had to date from TX”, no, this is one of the best rosés I’ve had period.
This reminds me of Paper Planes Rosé (which is a top 3 for me), but instead of the strawberry notes, this is more nectarine and peach. The acidity is almost identical. For me, rosés with higher acidity are my favorite and this knocks it out of the park. Very nectarine focused on the nose with some white peach and herb toward the back. The palate almost goes to a cantaloupe note (more round) but reigns it in towards the back and adds more nectarine alongside kiwi. Can’t get over how complex this is. Very happy to have some of this on the way and probably ordered too little. Thanks for the intro @Mark Flesher !

Strawberry. Mango. Guava. Stone-ground fruits from the very beginning with a really nice acidity and balance. This Rose was doing rather well about 6 months ago but still in its element. Going to be a rather LONG ride to the finish of this wine and glad I still have a half dozen more.

Mar 30th, 2019Yeah, there was a Rosé in here. I didn't take this picture quickly enough. 15 minutes after the bottle was opened and only about about 50ml left between 2 glasses. #dontjudgeme

Oct 22nd, 2018@Delectable Wine this is the estate grown Kuhlmanation Rosé... it was not in the database.
This is an incredibly balanced wine. The nose on this wine is strawberries and peach. The entry is more of a nectarine than peach. Very thick and viscous. The middle is where more of an herbal characteristic shows and a hint of watermelon. Pineapple and kiwi shows up at the finish. Intriguing bottle of wine. Most complex bottle of Rosé I've ever had. 9.4 and not ashamed to give that rating. Kudos Kuhlman!
