Krug
Krug Collection Brut Champagne Blend
Champagne, France
The 1988 Collection is at that magical place where Champagne starts to become more vinous and wine-like. Apricot, chamomile, graphite, mint and lightly honeyed notes gradually open with a bit of time in the glass. Gracious and understated, with silky contours and exceptional finesse, the 1988 is a total knock-out. Krug ID: 417035. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2021)

Likely one of the best bottles of champagne I’ve had. A great balance of flavors, acidity, age and development. Oh my god!

Lovely and supple. Quite rich and broad. A touch of apple and a faint metallic hint. Long and intense. Still a pup.

Mag. Split with friends. #goodtimes. Smells like the inside of a freshly made ford taurus. Tastes just like heaven. With bubbles!

Sorry Dom, might have a new favorite! Notes of honey and pear. Never tasted honey in a champagne before but it definitely is a flavor I could get used to! Smells like fresh brioche.
