First wine in over 2 weeks after dealing with walking Pneumonia. I believe this is the inaugural vintage, in a great place. Fairly powerful yet the grace of this wine stands out. Berry, light cedar and plum. Finish presents a mouth coating rush of black fruits and anise. Fantastic.

Our dear friend Jerae brought this to share at our friend @travelinwinechick 's birthday party and what a nice surprise! This is a blend with 75% Cab 9% Malbec 8% Petit Verdot and 8% Merlot. We love big red wines and this did not disappoint!

This is such an amazing wine made by celebrated Philippe Melka. Beautiful nose of dark fruits, florals, tea with berries, cassis and chocolate on the palate. Full-bodied with well-integrated tannins, this the third vintage I've had of this wine and it continues to impress (though the '09 continues to be my favorite). Can't wait to try the '12. (Tasting notes 8/8 after 1 hour decant)
