Disclaimer: in-laws made this wine. Couldn't believe how fresh it was. Tons of bright acidity, fresh wild raspberry, white pepper, and oak. We were all surprised, and of course pleased.

May 14th, 2013Really dug this Oregon Pinot Noir, which lands on the bigger, darker side of the scale, but is still oh so pretty. I wonder if these are Pommard clones since this wine has an affinity for the power and sumi ink watercolor depth I think of in Pommard. The coastal influence keeps things fresh and sassy.
