Jun 18th, 2018Aged 1 year in French oak and 2 years in the bottle. A commemorative wine for their 10th year anniversary.
Nose: First impression is a thin tomato soup. This wine opens up with every swirl. Gradually, I get red fruit, game, bay leaf, mint, leather, and an amber plus cedar wood cologne-like fragrance.
Taste: Fresh plum, cherry, savoury herbs, tons of earthy characteristics, sweet tobacco.
Conclusion: One of the best Plavac Mali I've found during my one-month wine travel in Croatia.
