First time having dry white Porto and so far I’m wishing I hadn’t—a rarity for me with wine. This smells like kids Motrin and lemony brine. Texturally it’s oily, with obvious port heat and medium acid. There’s too much oil—or is it rendered fat?—leaving the rest flat. Random pull from Costco and 🤷🏻♂️.

Nutty, slight brine, hint of sweetness, lemon curd, alcoholic. Nice aperitif, if slightly flabby.
