Kitchak made some incredible wines - sorry that he sold the winery. This is a complex, dark fruit Merlot. Tannins have really softened, but still there to give it structure. If you like great Merlot, this is one of them. Another wine that shows the 2011 Napa wines have aged much better than critics initially rated them.
