Wednesday Wine Committee hosted by Dan. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. Tasted blind as usual.
Very ripe and juicy. It totally reminded me of a field blend from Carlisle. Reigns it in before going full blown VA style. Surprised this was Kistler Pinot. Squeezed strawberries, raspberries and blackberries in a glass with Mexican vanilla and a touch of cedar. Zero acidity. Drink up.

My memory has the standard Pinot being better. I recall just loving the deep, rich and what I recall as forest floor. Not getting it here. Nice and people liking it but not meeting my expectations.
