Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of cherries, cloves, and dried leaves; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, low tannins, high alcohol, medium minus body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of hibiscus, strawberry jolly ranchers, and tar with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense, but a little hot and bitter. Overall, I rate this wine as good.
