I tried a couple of Kirkland wines before and what seems to be the pattern between them (besides being a lot cheaper than other wines from the same region) is that they all are the "just enough" kind of wines. This Pinot fit example has just enough color, just enough strawberry on the nose and just enough acid to be a pretty standard California Pinot. Nothing remarkable nor memorable. It's not a bad wine, just a "good enough" wine.

Sep 22nd, 2019Great bang for buck. Some good cherry notes while not overly sweet, which can ruin a Pinot in my estimation. Very reasonable and tasty.
