Kinda meh. Good with food, not really without.

Was an easy drinking simple every day wine. I had this for a sensory analysis class.

An incredible value for less than $10. Half the fun of buying these bottles is the detective work that comes along with it. Reading the bottom the label you find that this wine is from Chateau Petit Freylon. A little research shows that this château is in the Entre-Deux-Mer region of Bordeaux. Specifically in the Côtes de Bordeaux-St-Macaire sub region. This is an incredibly small area next to a town of only a couple of hundred people. It’s nice that this is a Bordeaux Supérieur compared to a regular Bordeaux, but frankly you get what you pay for for wine from this region. Not bad, left Bank heavy on the Cabernet versus Merlot mix but a delicious wine and a good value.

Not bad at all for a $7 bordeaux. ... great for an everyday table wine.
