Pretty intense. Reminds me of Lagrein. Grape jelly, baking spices, pepper, moderate plus acid. Great by itself and with juicy foods.

Apr 4th, 2015This was the first vineyard planted on red mountain. In Austria they call it blaubergunder. They have 260 acres on red mountain. 1975 was the first red mountain vineyard. A very unique and spiced wine with fine tannins and a nice touch of that red miuntain fruit. Red berry fruit nice fresh finish. A lighter red but lots if nuance excellent

Jan 7th, 2016Okay, but not a huge fan. Lots of red fruit, raisin, bit of cola maybe. Not familiar with the style, could just not be my thing. Also did not have with food.
