This is a great little Pinot! Dark cherry plum and smoky sandalwood and rose nose, brimming with licorice, tart cherry, dense and structured goose berries, raspberries, black currants. Typical of cab or merlot; really interesting in this. Plenty of acidity to soothe the savage palate. This isn't clumsy and manhandled, just very focused and flavorful.

Bright cherry aromas, touch of forest floor. [2nd/ 3rd use barrels. 10 months French oak] Nice balance for the high alcohol (14.5%); intense color and bold black cherry fruit. Light body.
