Spitfire Sauvignon Blanc

The Spitfire showed lovely ripe tropical fruits, with only a hint of capsicum and gooseberry; but stunning, integrated acidity that went great with spicy Hunan food!! Glad I didn't wait any longer to open it up...

New Zealand Kim Crawford's Sauvignon Blanc is a complex fun wine by the bottle that holds a lot of grapefruit and green pepper notes with some grassy notes.

High acid. Obvious grassy notes with tomato leaf and green pepper. Undertones of grapefruit skin.

Strong bouquet. Fruity but not sweet. Round.

Even better than the regular Kim Crawford. More oak flavor.

My favorite white wine!

I loved this bottle! Pear, straw, and a slight hint of petrol. Definitely worth a try ;)
