This 2013 Shiraz from Killerby is a little alcohol bomb at an alcohol level of 14.5%. Newly released you can purchase it for approximately $32.
A strong red colour on the eye with hints of purple and big aromas of peppered steak, leather, plums and a sort of cooling menthol nature. On the palate it's juicy with upfront berry fruit sweetness while the finish is earthy and tannic. Oak and plum flavours intertwine with a warming alcohol sensation that leaves you with rosy cheeks and a 'please give me more' grin.
A big thanks to Killerby Wines for supplying this sample bottle. As always all opinions are based on my own taste buds. #TCWeekdayWine
