Gorgeous classic Nahe nose of white cherry, confectionary fruit, apricot skin, vulcanized rubber and a distinct slate-like note. The palate is ripe, round, pure and extremely juicy, with beautiful sweetness, a Riesling-creamsicle texture and enough tension to keep everything balanced. The acidity is clearly lower than in 2021 and the wine does not have that vintage’s superstar energy, but it gains freshness after the first sip and shows lovely elegance, finesse and concentration. Very good now and likely to open further

Jun 10th, 2024Killer nose. White cherries, peaches and apricots. Jellied and ripe but also has a palpable sense of minerality. White chocolate sprinkles. So delicate and detailed. Palate is a dream. Juicy and intense like a liquid sweet tart. Such intense but clean and caressing acids. So dense and chewy but loose as well. This is so delicious and so well made. Wow. Long electric finish. Stunning wine and QPR. As it aired it gained finesse and length. Genius.

Mar 8th, 2024Wow. Huge tropical and cherry blast on the nose. Superb minerality and an almost confectionary quality. Just terrific rock quarry like minerality out of this site. Super super aromatic. Truly put you on notice aromas. Always a steal. Heaven on this nose. Like a cross between spree and sweet tarts. Just amazing. Palate has stunning concentration and purity. Huge acids and such a driving forceful minerality. Finishes mineral and dry. Stunning depth and structure. Some lime zest in the nose with air. So complete and awesome. Elegant. Rich yet superbly mineral and delicious bright and lifting acids.

Icing on a cake. Complex and acidic with terrific density but so so elegant. Terrific structure. Very pure and so much material. Sweet but also a hint of savory. Long. Sappy and so so long. Great wine. Terrific wine. Dare I say genius?
