Primarily a blend of Grenache and Syrah with small amounts of Carignan, Cinsault and Mourvèdre are also included. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of dark black fruit, earth and garrigue. Flavors of black berry/cherry/plum fruit, baking spices and woody herbs. Noticeable oak and alcohol heat on both the palate and Medium-plus finish. Balanced acidity and soft tannins. Reasonable.
