Vin de Pays de Vaucluse White Rhone Blend

Love Kermit for these vin du soifs- just a simple (read: enjoyable) white with character for the middle, intense summer months. 1/2 Chardonnay, 1/2 viognier. Crisp, some teeth & attack with a southern Rhône blend. Priced accordingly.

50/50 chard/viognier. Missing a pronounced bouquet, wish it wasn't so muted. Tart and crisp mid palate, feels waited toward chardonnay. Maybe the viognier was less ripe? Serve at room temp.

Soft textured. Apple nose & flavor with HUGE salty minerality. I like minerality, but think carefully about appropriate food pairing.

Rich nose, vanilla citrus nose. The palate is vanilla citrus. Very crisp very acidic.

Heavy minerals and salt, vanilla and flowers.

Love the blend of chard and viognier; great balance and depth. Worked fantastic w middle eastern food.

Dark ripe fruit.
Balanced acidity. Thick tannins that could lessen grip with a couple more years of age.

Ok for $12, but lacks the floral nose I was hoping for.
