Rusty red. Like old paint and cherry skins. Smells more like ‘red wine’ than Zin per se. Maybe a cranberry here and a bit of camphor there. Flavors are jammy with raspberry and a nice bitter olive streak. Also has a hint of bar-b-qued rare steaks. Deftly avoid the fruit soup blues. Nice Sonoma Zinfandel with character. (Price is excellent ~$13).

This is a very nice grocery store merlot. Has a deep cherry color. Almost tastes like cherries. Sweet but still a wine. A good wine to sip.
