I normally stay away from their wines (no offense if you like them — they just aren’t for me) but I was in a wedding last weekend and someone handed me a glass of this. I have to say — it was yummy! Quite ripe but there was acidity.

Pale lemon in color.

Strong nose of lemons, grapefruits, red apples, pears, tropical fruits, bananas, tangerine, citrus and white pepper.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, light tropical fruits, pineapples, minerals, sea salt and white pepper.

Medium on the finish with limes and bitter almonds.

This is an enjoyable Pinot Gris from California. Showing mild complexity, crisp and refreshing.

A good summer wine, good for parties or as a sipping wine by the porch or pool.

Nice and tasty.

Pale lemon in color with a green hue.

Fruity nose with citrus, lemons, grapefruits, grass, green apples, white pepper and minerals. Pretty much a sauvignon blanc nose.

Medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with limes, lemons, grapefruits, green apples, spices, light herbs and black pepper.

Medium plus on the finish with bitter almonds and spices.

This is an above-average Pinot Gris from California. Nicely balanced with mild complexity and refreshing acidity.

Good by itself to drink by the pool, or with food. I paired it with heavy appetizers and cheeses.

Pale straw in color with a golden hue.

On the nose grapefruits, limes, green apples, white pepper, spices and grass. Smells like a Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity, crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, white pepper, spices and green vegetables.

Short finish with citrus and bitter almonds.

This is a nice California Pinot Gris. Nicely balanced and simple. Good by the pool, and with food too.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of Meats and cheeses. It paired really nicely with cheddar with horseradish cheese.

Grapey. Just ok. I’ll drink it again but won’t go out of my way to.

A bit sweet . . . Why the Muscat? A PG doesn’t need to be comprised of more than 5 types of grapes and sourced from so many geographies.

Fruity and refreshing. Not tangy. A go-to.

Nice nose and mouth feel. Grapefruit and apple with a hint of sweetness in the finish. Ok, but there’s better Pinot Gris in this price range.
