Fun fact: the bottle fell down my stairs and didn't shatter 👌🏼

Medium gold with some petillance. Very oaky nose with some ripe melon notes. Medium bodied palate with ripe melon and peach notes. Loads of creamy oak. Not my style. Medium finish. Could cellar in short term.

Light golden in color.

Oaky nose of vanilla, oak, lemons, melons and citrus.

Full bodied and buttery, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with butter, citrus, lemons, honey, apples, melons, cream and white pepper.

Medium plus in finish, with bitter almonds.

A simple California Chardonnay. Very typical, with lots of oak and vanilla flavors. Nothing more here. Still, drinking well with food.

I had the 2013 a year ago (which I did not like), and this vintage was more balanced. Fermented in small oak barrels.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Light and fruity. Low acid, smooth and easy. Some notes of vanilla and oak. Lots of citrus on the finish.
