Received 10/2015 in a shipment. Consumed 4/1018. It is aged 12 months in 100% French oak, 49% new, with a medium toast. The flavors are black cherry and Bing cherry fruit with soft, velvety tannins. Integrated oak imparts a hint of smoke on top of the fruit and earth in the nose. It is medium bodied, the tannins are also medium in my opinion. And I also pick up on Caramel and cranberry in the flavors.
