pale garnet, tawny rim; black cherry, plum, leather, tea, composting leaves; tart cherry and pomegranate; medium body, light tannins, medium+ acidity, 14.2% ABV; despite Santa Barbara County appellation fruit is all from Santa Rita Hills vineyards including 44% Ranco La Viña, 30% Rio Vista, 13% Zotovich, 7% Radian, and 6% Buona Terra, aged 10 months in 30% new French oak; very nice entry level California Pinot at $35 from the OG of Central Coast Pinot
