2019 Nerthus Kelley Fox Wines
60% Gruner Veltliner, 40% Early Muscat
The nose starts off with floral and fruity notes. Peach and Mango detected. As it opens up it becomes more honeysuckle and rose. Hits the palette light and sweet but then acid finish tones down the sweetness nicely drying it out a bit. This was my first sample of the "Women in Wines" offerings from the natural wines curating service Rock Juice.

Stylish new wine from Kelley Fox. 60% Gruner, 40% Early Muscat. The wine crisp, clean, stainless steel.... elegant, chiseled, mineral-based. The wine positively sang with a very rich lobster/corn/cognac bisque from Alinea. A match made in vinous heaven.

Continuing a weekend of American wine...beautiful quaffer from Kelley Fox wine. Gruner balanced out by grapey muscat, tannins from skin contact singing backup. Fabulous.
