Smooth funk.

Good ol’ fashioned stink juice and I love this producer for letting the vintage come through on the palate. -05 is not aging into my favorite vintage as I find some wines to be disjointed and clunky. This has some of those traits but overall still a very good bottle of wine.

Consumed over a 2 hour zoom call with some friends I’ve met through this app. Opened one hour prior. Depending on how you like your wine you might say despite being 14 years old this was opened too early. Still tannic and fresh with the Kelham funk I love so much. Spiced blue fruits in manure on the nose. This was my first reserve which was a big notch above their outstanding ‘base’ cabs. Highly recommend!
