Lateral Napa Valley Merlot Cabernet Franc

Deserves a proper decant. Heavily oaked, with loads of vanilla present. Currants and blackberries show after some air time. A really well done wine!

Good, but a bit too subtle for my tastes.

Perfect are on this with notes of black currant and a faint spice that paired beautifully with our Christmas dinner. Don't think green for this cab franc blend

Wonderful blend!

Delicious, coffee and chocolate nose and juicy texture, great length. And a very pleasant green peppercorn thing just at the beginning, like well-placed seasoning.

Restrained stylistically letting the fruit take stage, vintage variation kept it at bay

Delicious as soon as it was opened. No need to breathe.
