This is a merlot, petite sirah blend with a little Syrah and petit Verdot thrown in, but the tasters notes claims there are 10 varietals in all, including Tempranillo, Muscat and Reisling, weird. Did they just have a bunch small batches they needed to get rid of? The nose is charred fruit. On the palate tangy and dark fruit predominate. The finish is on the light side with lingering acid. A very average wine for so much blending going on. This is my second bottle of this wine, and I note inconsistency within the same vintage.
