2009 vintage. Pronounced nose of stone fruits - ripe apricot and peach - cream, wet rock minerality. TDN petrol and diesel notes that are well balanced with the fruit. On the palate, high acidity makes this wine super fresh, concentrated flavours of ripe peach, stone fruits and lime. The finish is sublime - it is lingering and begs another sip. This wine can age for a few years yet. A stunning effort from Egon Muller who makes us realise that dry Aussie Riesling is a style that is consistently superior to anything the Germans, Austrians or Alsatians can produce. When you realise the price, it is also incredible value.
