Surprising Shiraz from Barossa Valley. It drank like a cool climate Syrah from the US. Fresh acidity, full bodied, dominating black pepper and strong notes of dried plum, initially tart but evolved to a sweeter edge giving it richness. Nice rounded tannins giving it a pleasant finish.
