Buckboard Single Vineyard Durif
Definitely the type of wine you have to be in the mood for thats for sure. Pretty bloody jammy, mainly plums. Beautiful, quite over ripened but in a good way. Some quince like aromas and blackberry, sweet oak, clove, slight mollases and earthy tones with a touch of anise too..rich plum and milk chocolate mid palate and finishes with the slightest tannic grip. Delivery on flavour intensity is through the roof. No idea what the alc is on it but served at 18° it's certainly hiding it

If you're feeling big and over Shiraz try this.

Fantastic Durif ever so complex aromas of black cherry, violet and spice as well as dark chocolate, cinnamon and hints of liquorice.

May 23rd, 2015Big, bold and strong. The 2010 consumed in 2021 is certainly ripe and ready to go. Plum, figs and plenty of spice, it’s pretty hard to fault this if you like a big reds from the Barossa

Would love to revisit in a couple of years. Plenty of potential.
